The Sherman team has made astute moves that illustrates a move towards creating the 'big tent'. And the fact is the PC animal farm i Alberta has remained the government because of their big tent strategy. The Campbell government even with its flaws was a big tent. The Clark decision to hire a reformer/reformatory is a move to counter the rise of the Conservative Party (really reformatories).
If the progressive parties in Alberta fail to move towards a progressive big tent, and the progressive vote (approximately 50-60 of the electorate) the votes will splinter, the progressive opposition will fragment and the PC animal farm remains the government or worse!

That’s an interesting way of saying that you have a personal opinion, would like to attribute it to someone other than yourself to make it look more popular than it is, so you're pretending there are other people who believe that.

The only one who believes it is Mr. Climenhaga.

That kind of phrasing is a little shoddy and suffers from a little bit of intellectual dishonesty. I’d prefer to see opinion writers who say what they mean and mean what they say.

And absolutely right about Brother Taylor. He hadn't lifted a finger for the NDP since 2001... and made it pretty clear at a CEP convention a few years back that he was going his own way. I wish him the best as Mayor of Hinton.

This changing of political parties is getting out of hand.

So I propose a rule change of sorts. Why not make joining a political party part of a "secret ritual" that's so traumatic, so painful and so humiliating that you'll never want to join another political party again.

Nice to see Kevin Taft on the "make the rich pay" bandwagon. It's been pointed out that while he was liberal leader head a couple years backs he was quite wishy-washy on the royalty review issue and let Stemalch twist in the wind.

Typical liberal. Oh well, better late than never.
